Time to experience the eccentrically commercial formulas of Hari as the director is ready with the release of Singam. Back in time, both Surya and Hari have fleeted with success – Aaru and Vel. The expectations are more and with Sun Pictures obtaining the rights, one can imagine how commercial this film would be.
The film features Surya in the lead role of a sincere and wild cop and his horn locks with Prakash Raj. The glam hot babe of South Indian film industry Anushka has played Surya’s love interest and Vivek is Surya’s sidekick taking care of comedy tracks.
Will this resemble Hari’s ‘Saamy’ in which Vikram played a cop? Not at all, this will be completely dissimilar from those features and will be entertainingly best for family audiences.
The shooting was completed within a short period of time and as we know that two songs were shot in Dubai at a time period of 6 days. Major portions of this film are shot at Chennai, Nellai, Tuticorin, Ambasamudarm and Karaikkudi.
There is a group of big actors including yesteryear actress Manorama, Radha Ravi, Yuvarani, Delhi Kumar, Nizhalgal Ravi, Bose Venkat, Ajay Rathnam and others. Devi Sri Prasad has scored music and V.T. Vijay as editor.
The film’s audio will be launched by Sony Music during third week of May while Sun Pictures has planned to release Singam in theatres by June.
Since, this is Surya’s 25th film, the fans and his close associates are so happy and excited about the release.
